Andrew has been leading Recovery Dharma meetings in Charlottesville for a few years, and at FYJ for the last two years. He teaches philosophy courses at U of Richmond.  Beth teaches yoga and writing at Berea College, KY. She found a new purpose in Recovery Dharma at FYJ last year.

Jeff started practicing yoga in 1978 after reading the autobiography of a Yogi. After exploring many styles, he’s come to rest in Pattabhi Jois’s Ashtanga Yoga. The dynamic nature of the practice drew him in; how it leads to the practice of Pranayama and meditation keeps the practice evolving.

Trained to teach Ashtanga yoga by Dee Silvers, Monju Jois, and David Swenson. Studied with David Williams, Gary Kraftsow, Gregor Maehle, and many others.

Colleen Redman is a Floyd County blogger who contributed news stories, features and photographs for The Floyd Press from 2006 – 2022. Her poetry has most recently been published in Artemis Journal and Floyd County Moonshine. She is the author of several books of poetry and has been a featured reader at Floyd’s Little River Poetry Festival.

Kathleen is a Forest Ecologist turned Clinical Social Worker, TEDx speaker, and author of The Nature Reset. She blends somatic therapy, mindfulness, energy medicine, and ecotherapy to guide healing through embodied connection.
